Location

Troserch Woods is situated about a mile north of the Allt roundabout at Llangennech, which is on the A4138 link road, just off junction 48 on the M4.

Effectively there are 4 routes into the woods, although only the northernmost has a designated car-park. The southernmost is linked to a footpath along the Morlais river from the electricity sub-station at the bottom of Troserch road by the Allt roundabout. There is ample parking here on the roadside. The Allt roundabout is on the local bus routes and Llangennech has its own train station on the Heart of Wales line.

Tracks and pathways

There are a series of pathways throughout the wood, including a new circular walk on the east side of the river. The map opposite gives an indication of the routes available. A similar one is sited on a notice board at the car-park entrance.
