Community Woodland for Llangennech & District  

The Society

Troserch Woodlands Society (TWS) is a community-based society set up to acquire and manage Troserch Woods, an 80 acre mixed woodland near Llanelli in Carmarthenshire. Thanks to a grant from Cydcoed (Forestry Commission in Wales), the woods have now been purchased for community enjoyment and conservation. Formal ownership lies with a non-profit company, Troserch Woodlands (Property) Ltd (TWP). This is a company limited by guarantee, composed of the elected executive committee of TWS, accountable to all society members and committed to the aims and objectives of the TWS.
